The Sigma Meditation Retreat, “Integration of All Great Traditions for the Perfection of the Soul,” was led directly by Guru Setyo Hajar Dewantoro (SHD). The retreat took place in Semarang, Central Java, from September 9th – 11th, 2022, and was preceded by a series of webinars on the topic of the Perfection of the Soul.
The webinar series was held every week in 4 sessions starting August 14th. This webinar was organized to reaffirm each practitioner’s awareness of the silence method so that they may completely comprehend Guru SHD’s teachings and apply them to their daily lives.
The Fraternity of Pure Light emphasizes that the ultimate goal of all spiritual teachings is to encounter God’s love in the wonder and splendor of life. Therefore, all the spiritual labels learned together, such as Suwung, Sastrajendra, Sangkan Paraning Dumadi, Jumbuh Kawula Gusti, Tantra Yoga, Tao, Adhi Buddha teachings, Druid, RA Consciousness, Christ Consciousness, and Zarathustra, were integrated into the Sigma Meditation Retreat.
The retreat also strives to fortify the Sagrada Familia, a sacred brotherhood, and the character-strengthening moral development of knights with pure hearts. The retreat was a chance for every soul to be cleansed and transformed; it also acts as the basis for the Kepamomongan program, which has been running since September 1st.
“We are grateful, as members of the Fraternity of Pure Light, especially those who have the opportunity to attend the retreat, for being fortunate enough to be the “chosen ones” who yearn for true happiness under the guidance of Guru SHD,” said Nyoman Suwartha, a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Secretary General of Pusaka Indonesia Gemahripah (PIG).
Nyoman adds, “But, the knowledge gained at that moment is insufficient for complacency. It’s comparable to being accepted into a renowned university through an admission test, and you must work hard to prepare for all the assignments, tests/quizzes, midterms, and finals to pass. With our inherent capacity for free will, we have the freedom to decide whether to finish school, take a break, delay graduation, or graduate on time—even with a cum laude predicate.”
